We woke this morning and sat in the garden before I called over to the neighbours to see if they wanted to share our bacon and eggs, we sat in the sun eating and drinking, Cali sat in her chair and eventually fell asleep, obviously bored with the adults.
We spent a few hours around the pool whilst Darren and Shelley went about their business and then we showered and took a taxi to Paphos Harbour for the afternoon, we walked along the shoreline checking out the area before finding a lovely restaurant for our lunch, this consisted of whitebait and seafood salad sitting overlooking the ocean, the welcome breeze from the sea kept us cool whilst we ate, shame it didn't reach the ladies toilets because they were like an oven.
We finished lunch and strolled back along the shore before calling for our taxi driver to take us back up to the villa. Shelley and Darren were home and Darren invited us over for cheese and wine in the garden, Darren ever the landlord poured the wine far to easily and even when the hand signal went up for stop he carried on pouring.
We took ourselves home for a quick shower before heading to The Mesogi Arms for the evening, we met the locals again having been introduced to them the previous evening, there was Gary the Building, Valentino the pianist, and apparently the former pianist for the King of Jordan, Stuart the cousin whose trade I have no idea about although I do know its manual as his clothing and body was marked with his graft from the day, we were joined once again by the Dark Lord and the evening settled into a gentle roll of conversation and food, washed down with vino and beer, oh yeah and soda water because its thirsty work here in Cyprus.
We eventually rolled home around 1pm and it was straight to bed for us, having had to move bedrooms last night because the air con decided to spew water at the bed, we threw ourselves into the new room shoved on the working air con unit and were pushing zzzz's almost instantly.
