Did I happen to mention it's my Birthday

We had the laziest day ever today, I only showered after doing my Kettlebells and because the sweat was pouring off me like Niagara, not a pretty sight throwing that bell around Katie's room shouting back at the stupid man on the DVD, whilst trying to maintain a little dignity and failing, you cant keep composed when your body is screaming WTF are you doing woman, don't you remember how old you are???????

We set up computers and shovelled through paperwork, things we have been putting off for ages, the only reason we didn't go out in the sun for a top up was because it was amazingly hot, and my newly acquired rice crispie lip (again) just wouldn't cope with the heat. Slurping tea from one side of your mouth is so unattractive, why me, it's not like I want them or need them, I'm just lucky that way I guess.

Little bro called to wish me happy birthday, and the messages and texts poured in all day, it's good to have friends and family who actually like you, and send you best wishes on your last ever birthday.

For our evenings entertainment we booked a table at Rak Besar, a meat restaurant in the German colony, we met in with Darren and took a taxi, on arrival at the restaurant we were handed a glass of red wine and taken to our table, then it was time to select our meat from the display cabinet, being a carnivore of the greediest variety, my tastebuds were being tantalised by the delicious array of meats on display, we pointed our fingers and decided on a rack of lamb, fillet steak and chicken, then it was back to our table to wait for our meal.

The meat arrived and was laid out on a griddle type heating tray, thankfully Darren dealt with the meats, cutting the lamb and letting it cook further on the heat, the beef and chicken were sliced and then the vegetable skewers arrived, the meat was heavenly and the all you can drink for 20 shekels red wine was flowing freely, although being a heathen I had white wine, and yes I know red meat, red wine, but I never said I was normal.......

I had a lovely day today, and also spoke with My Grand Daughter who informed me, I don't like green, and her newly acquired stick on tattoo had been scrubbed of all the offending green colour, leaving only the pink.
