'I'm Going for a walk' he said

We woke early and showered and then applied the sun cream, we arrived at the beach by 9.45 and already it was packed, we managed to find a spot close to Nivarnah and a sun bed for myself, I set My Beloved's chair in place with his cushion and we lay out in the sun, the tide which never goes very far from the prom was very amusing today as it kept sweeping up the beach, bringing with it shoes, and buckets and spades and at one point a holdall and sun hat, it almost reached my sun bed with one wave, I watched amused as people scurried after their belongings.

The sun was 31 degrees with a feel factor of 36, and not a cloud in the sky, children played in the sand, and in the sea, a father was teaching his son how to stay on his body board, and surfers were riding the waves. My Beloved decided to take himself off for a walk whilst I bronzed myself, he walked off towards Camel beach and I was offered water by the lady on the next sun bed, I hadn't realised how thirsty I was until the bottle was emptied in a oner, I waited for My Beloved to return, and waited, I considered phoning him but didn't want him falling off his crutches trying to answer his phone, so I decided to carry on waiting.

Eventually My Beloved arrived back, having set his sights on Camel Beach he had walked and walked not realising just how far the Camel was from our seats, I was amused at his sweatyness, and moans of sore feet, it was then time to order some lunch, two waiters were needed for this as we don't speak Hebrew and they both had a smattering of English, I ordered a vegetable platter with no oil and my poor waiter offered to get in the garbage! what he meant was he would discard the oil and not physically put himself in the bucket... My Beloved ordered deep fried cauliflower which was actually nicer than it sounded, my vegetable platter came with feta and olives and we ate lunch on the beach.

Watching the world go by I noticed once again the beautiful hair of the ladies of Israel, they embrace their curls and the effect is breathtaking, a beautiful young child was seated close to us with red flaming locks of curly hair, that reached as far as her bottom, her mothers hair was equally beautiful just not so long, it is lovely to see such feminine hair, although the Russian shot putter with her shaved side boards and dreadlocks was something else, tattoos everywhere and very masculine, offft.

We headed home and second shower of the day was taken before we headed over to Motzkin to visit with Dina and Jason, Zheni was working and we spent a lovely afternoon drinking his Earl Grey and eating his cake in the company of his wife and child.  The sun was no less intense later in the afternoon, and we had a very sticky journey home from Motzkin, we needed supplies so we eventually stopped at Wadi Nisnas where we purchased frozen King Prawns for our supper. My Beloved defrosted them on the table outside, in the shade to avoid poisoning, then cooked them, oh they were lush, we didn't even eat anything else with them, just prawns the garlic, lemon and corriander, oh and washed down with white wine obviously!

Our evening was spent once again in the company of Bella, Edward and Jacob, Eclipse it was, you gotta love a chick flick.
