I have only been home one day and already I am worried about how long the bacon will last, what if I can't get anymore, what if I never eat bacon again, 2 kilo won't last long, how will I manage, and then I remembered, I'm back to the UK in 11 days, and there will be space in the suitcase, I don't need clean undies, shoes or toiletries, what is needed is space for the bacon.
We headed off for Herzliya today, My Beloved had things to catch up on in the office, so once I dropped him off I headed for Tel Aviv, initially I headed for the train station on the outskirts, but as the car park was full I continued into Tel Aviv, and eventually found a large shopping mall and thankfully a parking space. I am now the proud owner of a lush pair of shoes for our up and coming family wedding, unfortunately they didn't have both pairs I wanted, but I will manage with one pair, if I have toooooo!
I eventually headed back to collect My Beloved but not before I sneaked in to the cheese shop next to the office for my English cheddar, then it was a quick drink with the boss before heading home for Haifa.
Chicken curry was made and we spent our evening with Darren on the patio, playing words with friends and other games on the ipads, phones and droids, there was a lot of swearing going on every time on of us dropped points, there is nothing like a friendly game between friends.
We chatted with the girls on Facetime, they eventually have broadband at home, hooray!!! They are excited for us coming home, as much as we are excited to be going home.
