We woke this morning and although I wasn't in trouble I knew today was going to be a long one, I wasn't hungover just grouchy, My Beloved on the other hand was fresh as a daisy which really makes a change.
We went and had coffee with the neighbours and made plans for the day, Darren's mum arrived and we got ourselves ready for a day out at the beach, we threw out things together and off we went, we arrived at the beach and went for lunch, I struggled to eat my village salad as I obviously wasn't as hungry and my belly had first indicated, Shelley was the same, but we struggled through and eventually walked back to the beach for a few hours in the sun.
Darren and Jack were first in the sea, then Shelley and Cali, whilst Phyllis myself and My Beloved lay on the sun loungers, My Beloved managed to get himself on the lounger today, mainly because they were very high and had huge padded cushions on them, he was delighted at being able to lay down in the sun, it wasn't long before his chin had dropped and the drooling began, luckily there was no snoring today.
We watched the world go by for the afternoon, Phyllis eventually went for a dip in the ocean with Darren and Jack, and Cali came back for a snooze in the pushchair, she looked so relaxed I just wanted to join her.
We eventually left the beach and headed home, then it was pool time with the children, I took Cali and Jack played with Mum and Dad, having had a scare in a pool recently Jack is now back in swimming up and down with his wings on. I needed a siesta and took myself home for some R & R, the trouble is with going for a nap is the waking up, I did not appreciate one little bit being woken up again, and grouched until I eventually dragged myself back out of bed. We then went and joined the neighbours again and shared supper together, Cyprus has been a great experience but very tiring,
