My Beloved arrived back and we were taken out to Paphos for a spot of lunch and a little shopping, we picked up 2 kilo of bacon, all vacuum packed and ready to take back to Israel. We then picked up Jack and Cali from their nursery's and headed home again, I tried a spot of sun bathing in the sun, but eventually just went and lay under the air con to snooze before finishing off the packing. The sheets and towels were washed and dried and then we headed round to see the children before bedtime and to say goodbye to them, I got a good night kiss from Jack as he was taken up to bed, and Cali was sitting in her pushchair desperately trying to get to sleep.
It was then time for Colin to collect us, take us to the Mesogi for a quick drink and to say goodbye to everyone, including the Dark Lord before heading to the airport, on the journey we spotted a forest fire on the mountains, I did think about calling my cousin, but he is having enough trouble putting out fires in the USA.
We arrived at Larnaca airport to be told our flight was delayed, hooray more time in duty free. We eventually boarded and I slept all the way to Tel Aviv, then the fun began, having work visa's and multiple entry visa's and my very own visitor permit we thought customs would be a breeze, but no, we waited and waited until I eventually told the young lady, can we sit please My Beloved has recently had an operation and is on crutches you know, she then jumped up and took us to the Ministry of Interior who stamped My Beloved's passport, mine was fine it's the workers she had the problem with, I've never been so glad to be travelling with a gimp, those crutches will be travelling to the UK when we go home, as we will probably have the same problem when we get back, and I think it's only because My Beloved's work visa and my visitors visa are due for renewal in August.
We had the best journey ever along route 2, mainly because I closed my eyes and we were whisked to Haifa before I opened them again, My Beloved and I then sat on the patio drinking wine and watched the sun come up. We had a lovely trip away, we were spoilt by friends and very well looked after, thanks to Darren and Shelley Prosser and their children, can't wait to go back.
Outside the Mesogi Arms, you can just see My Beloveds crutch hiding behind us. |
