So after posting prematurely yesterday, mainly due to the fat finger issue again, I can now confirm Haifa has around 250,000, certainly a little less than previously posted.

Yesterday we went to see two houses/apartments and after giving the agent a list of wants, specifically 3/4 bedrooms, he shows us two, both with two bedrooms, first one apparently is luxurious, (I'm quite liking this word apparently), luxurious obviously means different things to David the agent, cos it was boak. I had already advised David the necessity was light, not lets turn the lights on cos it's gloomy, so walking down to the first one I knew I was not going to like it, and yep it had a fantastic view all the way up to Lebanon reportedly, but it was dark, and the decor old and it was furnished, which would have been ok if the furnishings were modern, but I do have to say the cooker was lush and it did have a dishwasher. The second one was on two levels, with a separate apartment in the garden, but the vendor didn't show, and again it was very dark even from the outside, we reiterated to David 3/4 bedrooms and light and said out goodbyes. We took a stroll back to our hotel, mainly because I wouldn't be able to chat freely if David had transported us back to the Crowne, so we discussed the viewings whilst taking in the scenery. Our main conclusion appears to be we have to be very elevated to be on the north side of Mt Carmel, because the sun won't get to us if we are not. So South side is looking more appealing.

My poor Beloved was very poorly yesterday so we had a very quiet night in, and lazed around the Business Lounge, Natalie was helping us in our quest for housing, and she put My Beloved onto some sites for renting housing. My Beloved tried once again to get to grips with his Mac, but just like he does with all things new and unexplained he scowled at it as if to intimidate it, Mac is not easily intimidated.

Early night for us, but another episode of Mrs Brown before bed first. I really do pity our poor neighbours, luckily for us they change regularly.

When the alarm went off this morning I really was feeling unwell, so I decided to take a longer lie in my bed, so I took my breakfast at about 7.30am with Christie who had finished his night shift. After breakfast I dressed myself ready for for my walk, I left with no idea where I would end up or why, but having initially started our with tights, hat, scarf and jacket, by the time I arrived at the Horev Centre I was down to jacket only and the tights were removed in the Ladies.  From here I decided to walk to the Grand Canyon centre, so off I toddled down Pica Road, down into the Canyon. Had I gone the direct route it would have been about 3.8 km but because I meander and check out the surroundings it took 5.7 km which is about 3.5 miles apparently, there's that word again.

Because most of the second half of my hike had been down hill I decided it would be less traumatic on my feet to get a taxi back up the mountainside, 30 shekels later and I arrived outside the Crowne Plaza, having not eaten since breakfast which now seemed like a life time ago I decided on Spoons, for a bite to eat and a Coffee, and whilst I was there it would have been rude not to use and abuse their free wifi, I love Israel, they really are forward thinking where wifi is concerned, what better was of keeping people in your facility than to offer then free access to the net, it works for me, and although I have the old 3G, everyone loves the speed of wifi.

Oh I forgot to mention Natalie has bought herself a new Iphone 4s but is having a terrible time getting to grips with it, poor girls keeps phoning people when she isn't meant to and cant sort her email out, so we sat with our phones, Natalie's in Hebrew and mine in English and we sorted out her settings, I gave her a Facebook icon and learnt that Natalie knows nothing about itunes, I can see her scowling at her computer tonight just like My Beloved does.
