Knackered

Well the early night we envisaged didn't materialise, we had a Glaswegian guest from Aberdeen who turned up bearing gifts, how can you be rude to a guest who arrives on the doorstep carrying red wine and Bon Voyage presents. So we and the  Old Bag preceeded to drink the wine, and laugh at all the scottish gifts we were given, An apron with all traditional Scottish meals on from Haggis to Clootie Dumpling to Cullen Skink, two mugs a tea towel with the Traditional Address to The Haggis, and a beautiful Quaich. Filling the lovely Quaich with traditional Whisky could be an issue in Israel, but we have given the Old Bag strict instructions that should she visit she has to bring Whisky because there is no danger I'm buying it in Israel its far too expensive.  This is really rather unfortunate as I have just taught My Beloved the art of Whisky drinking, and he is quite the connoisseur now.

The Little Princes eventually woke up and showered themselves ready for us to collect them, we had a bit of facetime with Lou Lou and Lydia, poor Lydia was eating her lunch at the time, and concentration was split between her dinner and the Facetime which lead to a very messy face, but she still looked gorgeous regardless.

So today I have been packing clothes again, and unpacking and repacking, changing clothes from one case to another and then back again, I had to sit down after an hour as I was knackered.  I then decided I better put my lenses in, only to discover I must have been more tiddly than I thought on New Years Eve, my left lens was hanging on the side of the lens case bone dry and useless grrrrrrr.  So I then had to go all through my packing to find the new lens so now sometime in the not too distant future I'm gonna have a whole month with only a right eye great.

For most of the afternoon apart from maybe 30 mins I've been subjected to Four Weddings Revisited, yawn, yawn. Weddings are not about how nasty your guests can be to you, its about two people, who are very much in love, making their vows in front of the important people in their lives.....Reality Tv is pants.

Lou Lou has promised to facetime again tonight round about bath time for Lydia, now there is a water baby if ever I saw one.  But I really have to teach Lou Lou how to place the camera, because looking up her nose when she is looking down at me like Kenneth Williams is not very attractive......... but I still love her, I just shout higher, higher whenever I see her now.
