My Beloved informed me yesterday that he is confused, a state he often finds himself in..... but it's because my blogs work over 24 hours just not the normal 24 hours, I start on one afternoon and follow through to the next, the reason for this is that it can take a while to prepare my blog and if I do it whilst My Beloved is at work he can get 100% of my attention. In theory this works, in practice not so much.
My Beloved and I finished with David H Davidson yesterday and spent the afternoon in the Business Lounge, My Beloved working on his computer sorting the things he should have done prior to the meeting with David, myself I spent the time blogging, and generally getting seriously hacked off with my computer, inputting new pics to my files and trying to understand how Picasa can interfere in such a big way on such a small file. I will have a Mac before the end of the year, I really will. I'm sure it's not really my Viao's fault, it would be the operator and that would be me, but that does not make it any less irritating when COMPUTER SAYS NO................
So after a long time fiddling and gritting teeth I finally blogged only to find messages from facebookers who were unable to connect with the link, grrrrr back to the computer I went, and I had to reset the link taking out my own custom domain, and re-inputting the blogspot link. My new mission is not to interfere in the workings of the computer or blogspot, if they are not broken I wont try and fix them.
We decided to take our Dinner at the Hotel restaurant last night and we were given the most amazing weather display that Haifa can offer, lightning was flashing all across the bay, the twinkling lights of the bay would dim in comparison to the lightning, young Byron informed us before he left for night shift that the previous night the lightning had been very close to where he was working, and being as he was surrounded by water I had to laugh.....but quietly on the inside. I forgot to mention whilst in the business lounge the lightning had set off the car alarms in the street below numerous times, each flash caused some poor soul to have to reset his alarm, you gotta love Mother nature when she gets caaarazzzzy.

The funniest Ladyboy I've ever seen |
So its morning time again, and I have sorted the problem of interfering with My Beloved's routine, setting the alarm 10 minutes earlier meant I could get the shower first, and not roll over and go back to sleep whilst I waited for him to go first. This worked a treat and I showered and was fresh as a wilted daisy by the time we had breakfast. We had breakfast with Byron, his Dad, Rolando, and Christie, this happened because Byron took it upon himself to rearrange the tables, Rolando moved so My Beloved could sit next to myself, what a nice man, although sitting across from him would have been good too, who am I to deny My Beloved the pleasure of being close to me.
We said our goodbyes and off they all went to work, like the Seven dwarfs, only there wasn't seven of them, and Sleepy was in control of the car. I think Grumpy would have been better at the wheel, at least he would have been great for road rage, but he was one of the missing dwarfs.
So I took myself off to the subway, woohoo - once I figured out how to work the machine, then get two tickets because obviously I wanted to come back, I then had to figure out how to pay, after two failed attempts I turned the bank card round the right way, and low and behold my ticket for two trips was presented. It didn't occur to me to check before getting on the subway how many stops were between myself and my destinations, so I took the bull by the horns and looked at my map, then asked a very nice lady 'ARE WE THERE YET', and yes came the reply.
I exited the subway into glorious sunshine, so off came the hat and gloves, and I walked along towards The German Colony, so called because around 1868 The German Templars settled in this area of Haifa, some of the old houses still survive and are located on Ben Gurion Avenue. When I was here in May the sun was scorching and the place was so busy with people dining and drinking in the cafe's, today we are all inside because although that Sun is shining, it is still winter and the breeze from the sea would freeze your little bones off.
I walked around the shops and got my bearings, and just before lunch I headed back to the subway, as I have mentioned previously, the Dan Panorama is great for getting your bearings, even in downtown you can still see it, so I walked towards it keeping it on the left and once I came into alignment with it it was like magic, I'm back at the subway. Now this is good, when the subway train arrives you can't get on it straight away, why? because they go on and sweep the floors, then they let you on. London Underground you have a lot to learn.
