Japanika

My Beloved arrived back to The Crowne, and was quite concerned by my lack of speech, what he didn't realise was that every muscle in my body was hurting by now and even speaking was difficult, poor man. Two paracetamols later and all was........still sore, so we dressed and took ourselves out to see my new BFF about my sim and data for the mobile.

My new BFF is amazing, he was raging on the phone with Orange who were not very nice back, but apparently when you buy the data you have to register it, but no where in the small print does it mention this fact, and it turns out my new BFF is a pc technician in his other life, so knows a bit about a thing or two, but even he said that it is not written anywhere on their site.  So now my Arabic, yes Arabic speaking iphone still has no credit and we can't seem to change the language, I'm going to try Orange again in the morning, but when the Arab speaks I just glaze over and am visibly controlling the urge to throw the phone out the window.

We were both so tired by this time the thought of walking very far to investigate all that Haifa had on offer made us nauseous, so we headed towards The Crowne Plaza and found ourselves on the doorstep of Japanika, yes - I love sushi, and I have to say apart from the first ever sushi I had, which was one Valentines with My beloved, this was the best sushi I have tasted ever. Yo sushi I don't think so, have you met my friend Japanika.

not even half way through
We strolled leisurely back, mainly due to the fact we were still both suffering the effects of our exercises, as usual we were greeted by the friendly Hotel staff, we landed at the Business lounge mainly because auto pilot kicked in and My Beloved can't remember which floor we live on, but Chris from Aberdeen was in having a last beer before he left at silly o'clock in the morning, so we sat and chatted for a while before heading to bed.

Once again the alarm went off at a very unreasonable time, but I managed to get out of bed quite quickly but still in a semi upright position as DOMS has set in big time, going to the Ladies room is also very difficult, why couldn't I have been born a man, all the ups and downs are not easy with these tired leggies. Thankfully My Beloved now has muscle soreness so I feel so much better, I do hate to suffer alone.

We ate, we drank we said our goodbyes and I headed to the internet spot that is the Business lounge, I have finally after about two hours a phone that speaks English, not Arabic like last night, or Russian like this morning, the lovely Orange man is going to phone me back about my data usage and fingers crossed all will be well.  I have finally got the hang of this iMessage, as long as I have wifi and all my friends update their iphones or ipads or itouches to ios5 I will have free messaging to them, blue is good, green is bad. Get on it people.

The weather is not the greatest today for walking around, so I have decided to veg at the Hotel, catch up on emails and generally do all things google, and only one mishap with Hebrew today, I think maybe he has turned a corner.

Lunch was taken at the The Crowne Plaza today, and thank the lord for great waitresses, what I had ordered arrive on a sword like contraption, and she must have seen the horror in my eyes because she offered to help and removed it from the sword onto my plate, saving me the embarrassment of picking up my beef from the floor or worse still the neighbouring tables. But before the main dish arrived a huge piece of bread with olives, garlic and something else arrived, I didn't order it, but it arrived anyway, it seems bread is served with most things in Israel.

I have now downloaded an app that gives me options for tipping, which in Israel is compulsory, and My Beloved has been know to have been chased out of a door before now because he forgot, he has also been chased out of a door when he left too much money for something he had bought, it makes him feel important, but he need not think I will be chasing him anytime soon, moving Countries is one thing, chasing him all over is another.
