2012

We crawled out of bed at around 12.30pm which is great for me because I hate mornings, the voice was very husky after the nights singing and laughing, and the head was a touch dehydrated, but the paracetamol and twenty cups of coffee sorted that out.

PAINTED ON THE LOBBY WALL
Apparently Dave And Elaine have translated this for us
'Happy New Year Garry and Davina, We will miss you alot'

We have a great time at The Hobsons House last night, taking in the New Year in Turra Toon.  And even the walk home was pleasant as the snow had gone elsewhere and we were not forced to use ski's unlike last year.

So today, we have mouched around the house, and we have even started packing the suitcases, our lovely suitcases we got for a Wedding gift, I have already had to downsize some of my clothes which I really won't need, well not until we get a house that is.  I have never been able to travel light, and I don't see why I should start that malarky now.

Mmmmmm Garry's soup and Christmas Pudding with Brandy cream, oh how I have missed my Christmas pud this year, we had a bit of a hic cup yesterday when Tesgrows didn't have any, but the Co-op saved the day, the next problem was do we steam or do we wave, hell I couldn't wait 90 mins for a steaming so wave it was.  Oh and it was soooo scrummy, I love Christmas Pudding, I'm only disappointed we only bought the one, but I think the expanding waistline is quite grateful.

Tonight is going to be an early bed for us, the escapades of last evening have caught up with my eyelids and as I have mentioned previously in blogs, squinting is not attractive, and is hell on the crinkles.
