One should not drink vodka with a Russian

I woke this morning and knew My Beloved was in trouble, face down his head under the pillow, if you can't take the pain, don't take the vodka, after a lovely evening sharing food and wine and unfortunately for My Beloved vodka My Beloved was in dire straights. I kicked him out of bed first thing to go sort his daily report then I got up and left him to it, I pottered around the house, around 11am the bedroom door opened and a sight you shouldn't have to see without a government health warning appeared, dark glasses were quickly placed over the slits that had miraculously replaced his eyes, he didn't last long before he was back in bed dark glasses still in place.  I decided to take myself off to Isfiya for the market and the supermarkets which are open on Shabbat, so I left My Beloved on the sofa as he had only left his bed to lay back down on the sofa.

I drove up to the Carmel forrest it was beautiful up there and very busy, driving through Isfiya was slow due to the traffic, but I managed to find a little spot to park the car and had a peak around the market.  Then I headed to one of the local supermarkets, great store and the check out was much easier than the usual ones I have been to lately.  I bought some bits and pieces then headed upstairs to the furniture department, where miracle of miracles I found the mirror I have been looking for, so I dragged it across from one side of the store to the other, I decided not to manoeuvre it down the stairs for fear of either tripping and killing myself, or worse still dropping the mirror and it has taken me an age to find what I wanted.  I found someone who spoke English and asked if they could bring it down for me, the gentleman did no more than phone a friend and said friend carried down my mirror.  I paid for it and then another friend carried it to my car, the seats were down in preparation and I strapped it in using the seatbelt and off I drove down the mountain and home again,  I arrived back around 1.30pm My Beloved was up and at the computer working on reports as his Energy had returned. I have to say he still looked green but a touch brighter, although this could have been the reflection coming off his sunglasses......

I sorted through the bomb shelter and tidied the Little Princes rooms, swept them through and then made their beds ready for their arrival,  the last of the bags were sorted and boxes were thrown out and some were placed in the basement.  The broken vase and clock were thrown out and the towels were all placed where they would be within easy reach, having a wardrobe that is around 8.5 feet makes life a touch difficult if you put the wrong stuff on the top.  My new two step ladder is worth its weight in gold, it gets dragged all over the house, kitchen cupboards, wardrobes and cleaning the windows. being a dwarf is not easy.

We were meant to be going out tonight but having wasted some of the day My Beloved needed to catch up on his work so we called Buzz and said we would have to make it another day, supper was left overs from last nights supper, lush. My Beloved chatted with the Little Princes who have packed unpacked and packed on numerous occasions, and are very excited, and who can blame them, Inverness has snow and its forecast for Scotland next week, of course it is the children are on school holidays its always rubbish weather for the Hols.
