The Little Princes are in the air

We arrived home just around 9am, My Beloved went into work, and I went to bed for a few hours sleep time, around 11am I work, for some reason I thought someone was knocking at the door, turned out to be the apartment above being less than quiet.

I sorted through my blog, and My Beloved arrived just as I was chatting on facebook with a friend in Australia. We chatted about children, family and moving countries, I asked the question if you are down under when Im in the UK, does this mean your now side ways as Im in Israel, who would know, but I hope she is holding on tight.

We decided to take our lunch at the German colony, and to visit the Bahai Shrine, I still haven't walked through the gardens yet, and need to do that pretty soon, the Shrine area is beautiful, I have been in before and today was no different to my previous visit, you can't get in after 12, which was quite alright as the man informed my I wouldn't get in as I was inappropriately dressed, damn I forgot about the shorts thing, so when I go back it will be a modest dress and shawl to cover my shoulders, the shawl Mr and Mrs Parker senior gave me will do the trick, it was given to me for just such occasions.

We had a walk around the small section of garden that was open, and admired the lovely views and plants, every year a lot of money is spent of the shrine and gardens, and you can see the care that is taken on every walk way.

We were heading to the German colony after our walk, but I remember Hasssan's place was not far so we called Hassan to check the address and headed to Farina's for lunch, we had a lovely lunch, of salad, pizza for My Beloved with Tuna which made his day and stuffed mushrooms, of course the meal came with bread, and I tasted it and oh it was lush, shame its not good for me.  We really enjoyed sitting and chatting whilst slowly working our way through our lunch, no rush, no hurry just gentle conversation and banter.

Our afternoon was spent snoozing, and then it was time for us to get ready, we were meeting the boys for supper at Giraffe at 7.15, so walked up the road, and spotted the lads in the corner, unfortunately the same numpties that were effing and jeffing last night were parked on seats outside and next door at Rubens, apparently they had been there since lunch time, only now their numbers had grown, we just ignored them and walked past.

We had a lovely meal with the boys and after lots of lovely Giraffe food and wine we toddled home, most of the boys are flying out at some stage over the next week so it was nice to catch up with them before they leave.

Tomorrow I attack the house, and get it back into tip top shape, I'm still sweeping sand up, and as for the trainers we wore in the dead sea they are still slimy and yuk, and thats with sitting outside in the sun for a week, they just don't want to dry so its the washing machine for them me thinks.
