Its on the wall

Again the early start, and again I had to wake the Little Princes, they even slept through the TV engineer who was supposed to arrive between 10.30 and 12.30, but actually arrived at 8.30.  He drilled and hoovered at the same time, quite impressive for a man. So now our TV is on the wall and I can even read it from the comfort of my sofa.

I woke the Little Princes around 9.30 just after I had put the eggs in to boil ready for them to be coloured. I also decided to attempt some baking again, Chocolate cake this time, and once again I failed I made two cakes one big one small, the small one tasted lush once I sliced off the burnt crust, but the big one was burnt on the top, and gooey on the inside, My Beloved believes it was the oven setting, so I going to try again on every setting except defrost till I get it right. I am determined to have cakes on my lovely cake stand that the Parker family bought us, and I am very determined they will be home made, I wouldn't mind but I used to make children's cakes about 18 years ago and sell them for birthdays.

Once the Princes were up we added food dye to water and popped in the eggs, my first time ever colouring eggs, I think we will be rolling them on Sunday, but on these mountain hills they wont last long before the squish.

We decided to go to the Monastery up at Daliat El Carmel, and then pop to Isfiya for some supplies, the Little Prince's and I walked to the wine store at Carmel Centre first to pick up some Kosher wine for Passover, we are invited to Natalie's Mothers for the celebration and that is on Friday night. Wine bought we headed up to Daliat, the Princes couldn't believe how hot it was and were looking for shade everywhere, the Monastery was beautiful and we went to the top and took photos and viewed the surrounding area, we then went back down the mountain forgetting to go to the supermarket, picked up our beach gear and headed for the sea.

We found a nice spot close to all the amenities, and parked ourselves for the afternoon, today wasn't as busy as previously when we visited and we spent a lovely afternoon in the sun, then it was time for some lunch, Kitty and I had the snitzel, Yabba had the salmon again, we chatted at the table and decided that this evening would be a shopping expedition to the Cinemal. The girls played in the sea until it was time to leave, and then we drove up the mountain, but not before driving through a red light, well they are so slow here and its seems to be a national pastime, when in Rome!!!

We showered and changed and headed to the Mall, Cinemal is quite a nice centre and we had a look in most of the shops, Kitty found a Crepe store and decided on a Nutella crepe, My Beloved and Yabba wanted Ice cream, so they went to another store and bought strawberry sorbet and date, rum and raisin for My Beloved.  We continued around the shops until tiredness started to impinge on our adventure, so we headed back home, we took the tourist route to show the Princes the Bahai gardens at night all lit up with the shrine in the middle, so beautiful.  Then it was a race up the hill, a driver was trying to undertake us, but our wacky racers car beat him to the junction, My Beloved was happy!!

Whilst in Isfiya earlier I had put my foot to the floor and still my car wouldnt get up past a crawl, I didn't quite understand until My Beloved explain 'Yes dear its a 107 not a 1.7litre' that explains it then....
