Sunday - Monday again

This morning I once again woke with My Beloved, we spoke before he left although I couldn't really say it was a conversation, more like grunts and pointing fingers. I took one of my lovely grapefruits I purchased yesterday and went to the lounge to write my blog and upload all the lovely pictures I had taken at The Monastery yesterday, Celia called and we decided because it was a touch too windy we would meet for lunch at the Grand Canyon for 12pm.

Amy is back today, herself and Scott had a great holiday in Italy, and even spent time in the village where the New Moon films were set, lots of wine tasting and cooking lessons and I will be getting the recipes so I can try them when we move in.

I finished my blog, and headed up to the bank, I then jumped in a taxi to the Grand Canyon, Celia was already there when I arrived, and we hit a few shops before we headed to Gregs for Lunch, food again was lush and today I ordered the Asian chicken noodles, and Celia chose the Mushroom Tortellini, both dishes were lovely to look at, and better to taste. We chatted over lunch about all sorts of everything, including what kind of food is Rio renowned for and family and houses. We then hit the shops again, we popped in and out of many, many clothes shops, we checked out the shoes and the jewellery, and then Golf & Co, thankfully not a club in sight, but plenty of household goodies, I found a lovely toilet brush and holder in a cappuchino colour and bought two, both our bathrooms are brown and cappuchino colours, with beautiful gold and bronzed highlight tiles running in a strip down the wall, so now I can clean my toilets with something that doesn't resemble a rainbow of scary in your face colours.

Celia decided to get the bus back to her hotel, and we were given instructions on how she should do this whilst we were at Gregs, so we said our goodbyes and Celia headed off in the direction of the bus, now Celia doesn't like tunnels, and the young waiter had assured her the bus did not go through the tunnel, I received a call to say that she had arrived back at her hotel, and that the waiter had lied, and she had in fact travelled through the tunnel, but the only way that she coped was to watch a video on her phone, and she was fine.

I took the opportunity to check out Holmes Place the gym in the Canyon, this would have been ok had I been able to find it first time, I knew it was on -4, but could I find the correct -4, I was was underground and hadn't a clue where I was, so I took the lift back up to the mall, and headed to the other side and found another set of lifts, and this ones took me to the correct -4, I met a lovely lady called Roni and was given a guided tour of the facility, the place is pretty impressive and even has a spa area, which includes a wet and dry sauna, a jacuzzi, a three laned pool and mahoosive exercise studios, and spinning studios and cardio area and last but not least the weight training area. Roni showed me how a programme would be set out for me should I decide to join and told me the prices and the freebies I would get for my joining fee, she finished by giving me her number and said if I needed anything just give her a call, I managed to find my way out again, and headed over the other side to the lifts and took myself to the top floor and the bus stop.

I took the 23 back to the Carmel Centre, and took my lovely toilet cleaners to the apartment and set them in place, I'm so excited about toilets, how bad is that!

Next stop the hotel and up to the Lounge and had a chat with Amy before My beloved arrived back. My darling Beloved as had one hell of a day, and to top it off he said the C word in front of a lady, don't worry Sarah I told him off when he came home.
