Tel Aviv, well almost

We woke are around 8 and went for breakfast, We made up our minds to take ourselves to Tel Aviv today, so after finishing my blog we set off, half way there the rain decided to put in an appearance, and My Beloved needed a pit stop, so we went for some lunch at Herzliya, we walked around the shops which for some strange reason were open on Shabbat, the Areana Mall at the Marina was heaving with people, young and old alike, there were children making sand ornaments, picture drawing and face painting. I think Nelly is right Children are King in Israel.

We walked around the Marina and found an Italian restaurant, which was very busy and asked for a table, one half of the restaurant was closed and there was a party going on, we ate a beautiful lunch of Pate for myself and Pasta for My Beloved, the house bread was the size of a house, and oh so good, but I know I'm gonna suffer tomorrow.

Neither of us could be bothered with the drive to Tel Aviv so we decided to try Netanya, and we came across quite a few shops that were open, so we wandered around and checked out a few bits and pieces. Then we came across Max Brenner the Chocolate shop, oh we were in heaven, I ordered the dark chocolate hug in a mug and My Beloved ordered this Eskimo ice cream dish, trouble was he was back to being quiet again, it was a dairy milk moment, no speaking just savouring his ice cream.

We continued on our shopping tour of Netanya, then headed back to Haifa, but not before I nearly killed My Beloved due to his lack of direction again, that man couldn't navaigate a straight road.

We didn't have supper as we were both still stuffed from the Italian and the chocolate, so we popped around to the apartment, checked a few bits and then headed home for some snooze time, but not before we spoke with our favourite Singer of songs, Sharbel, we have asked if his father can make us a wine rack, we saw one in Celebrations before we left the UK and should have bought it, we have asked Robert if it could be delivered but the shipping would be very expensive, so Joseph the Carpenter is going to make us one. And Sharbel's aunt is possibly going to teach me Hebrew, happy days. Sharbel is such a great guy, and so funny, we have told him in the UK you tell people you will give them a bell when you want to call hem, so he now sings, I'm Belling you, instead of I'm calling you, or Sharbeling you!!!
