Back to School

After a terrible nights sleep I dragged myself out of bed and showered, put my face together, which was easier said than done, then headed for the bus and the University to meet Noor.

Today I used one of the smaller buses, now these things are like little minibuses and you hail them down, and then when you want off the driver will drop you anywhere along the route, so I paid my shekels and headed to the land of knowledge. I met Noor and we found ourselves a quiet spot in the Library and lessons began, man this is going to be a challenge. Hebrew has a masculine and feminine form and plurals in both forms too,  with Hebrew you take the form you want and stick it on the end of the word. I have now learnt how order soup and wine and I'm happy with that. I learnt a heap of other stuff too, like I still can't make that sound the Scots make so well, and if I do manage to say it, the conversation stops because its all I can say, I definitely don't have a rolling 'R' thats for sure.

We took a coffee break half way through and headed for the University cafe area, we chatted thankfully in English and then headed back to the Library for round two. I was a little better this time, when Noor tested me I  could write what I neeaded to and read what had been written, now I'm not saying I'm reading Hebrew oh no far from it, I'm reading the English version of Hebrew, reading the symbols is another day.

I left the University and hopped on the wee bus again to Carmel Centre, I took myself to the apartment and began the chores of the day, I have managed to get some of the marks off the bathroom floor, but I think it's going to be an ongoing work in progress forever....and then maybe a little bit longer.

I moved all the TV's and paintings and our personal stuff into the bomb shelter and cleaned out the room they had come from, I moved things from the living room in the vain hope that the furniture WILL turn up on Friday, we have been lucky so far, so maybe we are on a roll.

My Beloved called to tell me I have to be at the apartment between 10 and 1pm, well I think that is what he said, my iphone is doing and update and I can't get into it. So, I have to be there for the cable company who will be installing my phone line, my internet, and my television, the trouble is having just shifted all the TV's from one room I then had to go dig them out and shift them to the sitting room and bedroom, this done, I realised as I was leaving the apartment I had no TV cable for the sitting room, so first thing tomorrow I have to look out the cable or it won't get tuned.
