Broke Dawn Pt 2

What a busy few days we have had, have you ever noticed how you don't get out for ages and then all your invites come together.

Friday we met up with Ian and Reut and baby Ethan for a late lunch in Ramat HaSharon, unfortunately we drove to Hod HaSharon, but it was just a little detour and the guy we asked for directions spoke like this was normal for people to be in the wrong Sharon... so we arrived just ten mins late and preceeded to be introduced to baby Ethan and Reut, we had a lovely lunch at a cafe we would never have found on our own, Ethan ate all his lunch without issue, and we now have a permanent invite at eating times as this was a first.

We then drove home and changed ready for our second invite of the weekend, Dan's leaving party at Mike's place, all was going swimmingly, meeting up with old friends we haven't seen for such a long time, Antonio, Victor and Dragos to name a few, our evening ended rather suddenly, My Beloved knocked a rather large beer all over me, right through to the underwear, unfortunately I didn't see the funny side, I just had wet pants and a soggy lap, so we left and walked home.

Shabbat arrived and we were meant to take a cycle to Tel Aviv, we started out and got as far as the Marina before I realised no sun cream and a two hour bike ride not a good idea, the temperature was way to high for that, so we turned around headed home collected a longer T'shirt and cream and headed out again, this time we went in the other direction, which turned out to be a god send, now I'm not saying he is fat, squidgy maybe, but not fat, but when you manage to bend the pedal on your almost new bicycle questions have to be asked, luckily for us we were only across at Herzliya B so we had to stroll back with the bikes, as it eventually came off completely right in the middle of the road, My Beloved did manage to cycle the bike eventually but only if the road was flat, he was having to push one pedal and the other side he had to push the crank arm. We stopped off at Tavola for a light lunch and a most beautiful little treat of Baked Ricotta cheesecake, offft it was luscious, and a broken bicycle pedal didn't stop you know who have his half....

We eventually arrived home and showered before heading to Kiryat Motzkin and Dina and Zhenis so that Dina and I could transport ourselves to Twilight land, part 2, oh how long I have had to wait for this day, we were both so excited, we left the boys looking after Jason and headed for the cinema, eventually finding a parking space, we rushed for our tickets and found our seats, one hour and 55 minutes of heaven, well with the intermission in between of course, only in Israel.

It was worth the wait, I loved it, Dina loved it, the rest of the cinema loved it, happy days, and My Beloved who has now watched all the films wants to go and see it sometime this week, so I get to sit and grin though it a second time.
