So I have lost track of the routines I have done since my last blog, they are all a distant memory of pain and sweat, well apart from todays that is, but I will get to that.
We Arrived in Haifa early afternoon yesterday and the boys and Svenja dropped me at the hotel and they carried on to the Port, I had more important things to do with my precious few hours, and first things first I checked into The Dan Panorama, we were given a very nice room with a great view over Haifa, but I had other things of my mind and the view could wait. I left the hotel and headed for my favourite shoe shop, I couldn't decided if it was shoes or boots I needed for the wet weather, all I knew was the lovely sandals I bought the last time I was in Haifa were inadequate for the rain that had been falling, I tried on a few long boots and then was given a rather snazzy pair of short boots, they felt like my feet were cushioned in cotton wool, so I bought them, I now have fully functional mobility aids, for wet and dry weather and long or short skirts, or trouser and jeans, what ever I choose to wear I have the feet for it. I was so happy I wore them straight out of the store and down to the Grand Kanyon where I purchased a couple of tops, and a rather lush green jacket, oh and a couple of Christmas pressies.
I met everyone back at the hotel, and we were booked into Sinta for our evening meal, Darren decided to put his jacket on whilst reaching for his ringing phone, unfortunately the timing for the waiter was completely off and the tray of food he was carrying landed on the floor, Darren just carried on with his call totally unfazed, class.
The meal was delicious as usual, the fillet steak was rare and melted in my mouth, the steak came with a chestnut and red wine sauce, that teased as you chewed and tangled my tongue as it travelled from my mouth to my throat and down the hatch. We all enjoyed our meals and some us even enjoyed our desserts, some abstained, snooze you loose I say.....
This morning we took breakfast with Martin and Svenja before we headed back to Herzliya, the boots turned out to be just what the weather man ordered, it was lashing down but my feet were dry, cosy and comfy. I headed straight for the gym when I got home and did the first of two routines today, 50 mins on the bike and I was done, then I started sorting through the washing and organising the house.
I collected My Beloved and we headed for the gym again, my new routine was a killer, I have asked My Beloved to feed me tomorrow should I be unable to use my arms or my head falls in my dinner because I can no longer hold it up, he has agreed in principle.....
