So I breakfasted early and got my blog done in super quick time, my massage is booked for 10 am and the lady will be coming to my room, I made sure all our belongings were ship shape, and awaited my masseur. Arin arrived promptly and my treatment began, it was magic, getting kneaded and prodded and battered and pummelled. There appears to be a real issue with my right side, and boy did it hurt when she stuck her fingers into the shoulder joint, I was nearly off the table. We chatted about massage and training, Arin is Thai traned, medical trained and sports trained, we spoke about the training I had done, and she also informed me that she is a Life coach too.
When Arin finished we said our goodbyes and I took myself off to the Big Krayot for some retail amusement and to get my bearings on the places that Lily, who I have since found out is Nely, took me to when we went shopping together.
I got off the bus and it must have taken at least five minutes to get across the road, the pedestrian crossings here are a little odd, if you cross one road and find yourself in the middle of a very busy road, you then have to wait for the next green man to tell you to cross, well I needed to get across four intersections, and each time I got across one I had to wait for the next little green man. And My Beloved and I have noticed that very few people cross the road here unless the green man is lit, it's quite amusing, in London no-one waits for the green man, My Beloved still can't get used to crossing roads with me because I have a habit of just walking, but here in Israel I'm learning to wait.
I found my way to the shops had a spot of lunch, Orange and vegetable soup and it was lush, then headed off around the stores, I found more BBQs and garden furniture, there was also lots of clothes shops but I wasn't in the mood for clothes. I eventually walked to Keter and peaked at their garden furniture, then headed back to Hadar along the road, I eventually ended up in Hadar and then took the bus back up the mountain.
I waited for My Beloved to return and he arrived back around 6 pm, he was very tired from his day in Herzliya but the good news is we are able to go shopping for furniture for the apartment, he had a good day in Herzliya and was feeling very happy with himself. We decided to go back to the Home Centre and look at the sofas we liked, so we went to Betili, we now have a sofa, two easy chairs, a coffee table, a unit for hanging on the wall under the TV, dining furniture and a partridge for the pear tree, did I happen to mention the fruit trees, we have 5 trees in the garden, I definitely know we have a lemon as it has 15 lemons on already, this and its not even as tall as me yet, we have a grapefruit, and the others I'm not sure of yet, but I will find out.
So we left Betili with a piece of wood, because we couldn't decide on the colour for our furniture and needed to check it out in the apartment. We decided we needed to eat as we were both starving by this time, but instead of going to the Kastro centre we ended up in the Haifa Mall, we have to scoff our food double quick because they were shutting soon, it was after all 9.10 pm and the Mall staff want out about 10 pm.
Something amusing that we came across the other night when out at the Home centre, an absolute nutter, on one of the windiest days so far, this is what we saw, they had tied a piece of string around the middle of the mattress, so every time the wind blew or they started to move the mattress would come up, I had visions of it taking off and flying towards Tel Aviv, crazy, crazy mattress man.
