Breakfast was taken again in the Hotel, and then blogging commenced. After finishing my blog I decided today would be a good day for walking, I was desperately needing envelopes and couldn't find them anywhere in the shops. I set out from the hotel, and decided to find myself a coffee shop where I could read my book, catch up with the Demonic One and Ale Aim, my poor Grand Daughter has once again been struck down with Pneumonia, she was taken to hospital yesterday and they have given her steroids and antibiotics to get it under control. She was allowed to leave the hospital but on the proviso that if she got any worse she would be taken straight back. I chatted with her on Facetime and she appears quite happy for now, fingers crossed she will stay that way.
Lunch was taken in Mandarin and was a lovely salad of grated blue cheese, apples and leaves, followed swiftly by a chocolate soufflé, and an Americano, so now Im ready for the big walk, I walked to the Horev centre, then hopped on a bus to The Haifa centre, I didn't go in I headed straight for the Home centre, I kind of detoured via the Business estate and made sure I was allowed in by checking with the guard, these guys carry guns, and I didn't want to be shot. The guard said this is fine keep straight and go to the searcle, I had no idea what he was talking about until he pointed out the searcle behind us, it was the roundabout circle, so off I toddled and walked through the estate.
I turned a corner to be met by the wind, and boy was it feisty, very nearly took me off my feet, and at one stage I actually came to a standstill. I eventually found myself at the Home centre, and peaked around the shops, the first one was furniture and beautiful it was too. Next was a bed shop, and it was ok, but not for me. Across the road was a lighting shop and I have found some gorgeous lighting for our new home.
My Beloved called to say we can pick up the keys tomorrow and we would be meeting with Itzhac and David, wooohoooo we are going to be home owners again, I cant wait.
After leaving the Home centre I went back towards the Haifa Mall and tried once again to find envelopes, how can it be so difficult to find envelopes, I gave up in the end and phoned My Beloved and asked if he could get me some from the Office.
Once I left the Haifa Mall I found the bus that would take me to the top of the Mountain again, then walked from the Horev centre back to the hotel, I had no sooner arrived than My Beloved arrived too, we decided to go look at the furniture I had found on my travels, and as is always the case My Beloved loved the things I loved. We have always been the same with our furniture taste. When we first moved into our house in Slackadale we walked into the sofa shop, saw the sofa we wanted straight away, same with the dining room table. I only hope those pieces of furniture are now happy in their new homes.
We drove back up the hill to the hotel and left the car and walked to Japanika for supper, we are becoming regulars in the sushi bar now. On the way we met in with Mark and chatted in the street for a while. Our supper was lush as usual, Tuna Tataki to start and Auberage tofu, the tuna is always lush, but so was the new dish, the stock was heavenly and the chunks of fried tofu were amazing, even My Beloved enjoyed it and he doesn't like tofu, as I have told him before he just thinks he doesn't like it.
We went back to the hotel with full belly's and headed to the Business Lounge for a quick chat with Natalie, she has figured out the trains for me should I want to head for Tel Aviv and the Ikea store on my own. We headed to our room and snooze time once again.
