Little fishes

My Beloved left for work at the usual time, conference calls to make, and business to be done.

I woke and blogged and showered and sorted the room, then headed for breakfast which consisted of fruit and cappuchino, then it was time to head for the beach, Celia had called and was coming through on the train for a visit, having never been to Herzliyya she was scoping the area for when her girlfriend comes to visit at the end of May. Whilst I had been sitting on the patio a jogger ran past on her way to her room, she was wearing those new fangled running shoes, the ones with the toes, very odd, but what was worse was that she was running on her toes, I thought the idea of those shoes was to mimic correct heel to foot action, not bouncy bouncy on your toes, but what do I know.

The sun was toasty once again, and having been in the sun most of yesterday my head was a little fuzzy, so I kept it covered with my sarong, I lounged on the sun bed until it was time to go and meet Celia, I waited in the Business lounge for her arrival, and checked through the facebook to see if I had missed anything since breakfast. I also purchased a new hat to cover my fuzzy head, I think it will do the trick nicely.

Celia arrived and we headed out to the Marina for lunch, we eventually settled on a seafood restaurant, we were seated and then the salads arrived, and the bread and the drinks, the salads were nice and we nibbled away on them before we ordered the Red Grouper, what lovely fish, a little like whitebait and cooked in much the same way, then it was time for shrimp, now if you say shrimp to me I think of the little puny things, here it is king prawn and rather lush in size and taste. So our dishes arrived and were nibbled as we chatted, we watched as a young couple had there wedding photos taken on numerous boats that were docked in the marina, all very pretty and , although his mirrored sunglasses he was wearing had they been removed could have told another story.

We finished our feast and headed back through the marina to the beach, it was toasty once we arrived getting across the beach was easy as we were helped by the breeze, we sat for a while and Celia started chatting to a family sitting behind us, they were I believe from somewhere over Argentina way or possibly Brazil, and they spoke about what they were doing in Israel, something to do with volleyball, they had the height and arms for it, beautiful people and a lovely daughter with curly blonde hair.

Celia needed to leave to catch her train back to Haifa, we we said our goodbyes and off she popped in the taxi back to to the station.  I wandered back to our room and had a wee siesta before My Beloved eventually arrived back around 7.30pm, time for a quick catch up on the days events, before shower time, then out to meet the Big Chief for supper, we ate in a restaurant on the beach and the food was lovely but the service was dire, how difficult is it to order a glass of wine, eventually the glass arrived and the chit chat continued. We arrived back to our room sometime after 12 or 1 or 2 who would know, at least I don't have to get up and parlay with the energy team, thank the lord.
