Why do we do this to ourselves, pour poison down our necks, and then blame the one dirty glass we didn't actually realise we were drinking from until too late. My Beloved wasn't fairing much better he was having sleep depravation issues, nothing to do with the copious amounts of alcohol, just lack of sleep, I hear him, I don't listen but I hear him.
BLT's all round for the boys today, euck you can keep that junk, they were huge too, BLT with extra cheese, extra egg, euck mingers. I need Bruno's so as I had eventually managed to finish my blog, and shower whilst holding the walls in case my weary body gave out, I walked up to Bruno's and ordered a slice of the best pizza every, no idea what is on it, I know it has meat and caramelised onions, and it tastes great, so who cares what's in it, calorie counting is for days without alcohol, unfortunately there aren't many of those lately :) some diet we are on, I think we managed one full day this week, next week we are gonna push the boat out and try for two....... maybe. Celia called earlier and has very little recollection of getting home, I think that birthday celebration went well, don't you.
My Beloved was devastated on Monday when he arrived home from work and realised his wedding ring was missing, one year and already he has lost it, 'good job I didn't buy you a diamond' I told him, he made calls to get Neil to check the hotel in Herzliyya, and on Tuesday morning he checked the offices, the ring was Titanium and we both fell in love with it when we first saw it, so being me and never throwing anything out, I dug through the wedding receipts and found what I was needing, next thing I was speaking to Elizabeth at Azendi in the UK, and lo and behold they have the ring, and they have his size, so we now have a new wedding ring to get blessed when Fedex deliver it supposedly on Tuesday, and this time I'm going to staple it to his finger.
My morning passed quite quickly considering the time it was taking me to do anything, the blog hit 7000 views around lunchtime today, delighted I was too. Who would have thought when I first started my blog last November 4th that so many people would take notice of my wild and sometimes disturbing rantings, I think you guys should think yourselves lucky I don't write all the things that go through my mind, I would probably get committed, so best they're omitted.
I popped around to The Crowne for a quick catch up with Natalie, Maor was looking remarkably fresh on reception after her Jager bomb last night and beer, and wine, Natalie was in the Business lounge so I went up for a catch up and a glass of water, we arranged to meet up when she finished as she wants to go shopping, My Beloved won't be back early so I have a whole lot of time to fill so why not, I love getting the tours with Natalie, because she was born here I get the history, good and bad, I get the lo down on the different areas of Haifa, and I get good company what more could you ask for.
I then trundled back to the apartment and watered my thirsty plants, and worked a little on the Hebrew. The Eyes still were not fully hydrated after the wine last night, so concentration was difficult. Natalie called and said where to meet her and we were off, No 132 to Haifa mall, we walked around the centre Natalie checking out clothes as we went, I just followed on and stood and listened as she spoke with friends and shop assistants, I am collecting a word bank, but trust me the words I'm collecting are good for nothing, and certainly wouldn't get me far in a crisis. We stopped for a spot of sushi at Maki which turns out to be a kosher bar, so no shrimp or crab on the menu, Natalie was a touch disappointed but I let her order for us, and the food was lovely. Couple more shops and then back to the bus, and the Carmel centre.
My Beloved was already at home and had chopped up vegetables and prepared the meat for supper, unfortunately my telepathic message had been lost in translation and he had made enough for the two of us, but all was not lost, he made himself pate with steak and we sat at the table and chatted about his day, filled with phone calls and emails, and intentions and promises. Lou Lou facetimed as I arrived home so I had a quick chat with her and Lydia and then a call to the Demonic one, great phone call about lots of nothing and then she was gone, chatting with the Demonic one is a little like a game of dice, you never know what your gonna get and all the numbers aren't good, six today could be a six tomorrow but that doesn't mean the humour will be the same. My Grand Daughter had been on a visit to the dentist recently and her Grand father had also been in for an appointment, she had proceeded to tell all who would listen that her Grand Father was in to get his old man teeth sorted, you gotta love kids......
My Beloved and I were so tired that we muddled through for a while then decided to hit the bed, I have never been so happy to see my bed, I put a film on using the timer, but after a couple of minutes My Beloved was pushing up Z'ds so I turned it off and found my own lala land instantly.
